There are shuttles, but I'm not sure how often they run. If you rent a car, you can make a side trip to New Orleans. It is not that far from Gulfport.

If you stay on the beach side (casino) instead of the Oasis, ask for a (west) beach view. There is a shuttle to the other casinos, about 20 min. to 1/2 hr. ride to Beau Rivage. And taking this shuttle...
